What a day at Life Change Church todayđŸ™ŒđŸ»

First, I want to thank the church for planning so many special things this morning for Pastor Appreciation.
Thank you all for the gifts, cards, and kind words. Every one is appreciated and does our hearts good.

I have the greatest job in the world and it is an honor to serve such great and loving people. I hear and read about a lot of pastors that are discouraged and disheartened, burdened by the load, and frustrated.
Thankfully, I’ve never felt any of that in any significant way in all my years of pastoring. I have been blessed.
No church is perfect and neither is any pastor. I am an imperfect pastor pastoring an imperfect church. And I would not want to be anywhere else.
Bethany and I thank God for you all.

We closed out the day with an evening service featuring our great friends Karen Peck and New River. We are so thankful to have had so many visitors from area churches come in and worship with us tonight. It made me think about what heaven will be like. All of us together singing, worshipping, and praising, with no names above the door or on a sign outside.
Just God’s people in one accord. It was a beautiful sight and a powerful sound.

I am a good kind of worn-out and tired.

As they sang tonight
