This special Shabbat weekend is just around the corner, and if you haven't marked your calendar yet, now's the time. We have a feeling these conversations will be well worth the wait.

We're looking forward to welcoming Rabbi Yehoshua Grunstein as our Scholar-in-Residence for the Shabbat of June 19-20.

Rabbi Grunstein, formerly the Rabbi of Beth Israel Synagogue in Halifax, Canada, serves as Director of North America for Tzohar and Rabbi of Beth Garden Shul in Efrat. An experienced rabbi, writer, and sought-after lecturer, he is the author of Daven Your Age, Beyond Routine, Musings of a Minyaner, and co-editor of Machzor Vechai Bahem.

Over the course of Shabbat, Rabbi Grunstein will explore several timely and thought-provoking topics:

"Israel's Jewish Revival and the Post-war Future"

"Who Said You're Jewish? Proving Your Judaism in 2026"

Looking for a meaningful way to spend part of your Friday afternoon?

Parents and children in preschool through second grade are invited to North Oaks this Friday for a Happy Hour Chesed with Mr. Brian Singer.

We'll spend time with the seniors, share some music, and bring a little extra pre-Shabbat simcha to the afternoon. Kosher refreshments will be served.
