Wednesday Night Supper doesn’t just happen…
It’s made with a whole lot of love.

Early prep.
Hot grills.
Full kitchens.
And people who show up week after week to serve.

These are just a few of the hands behind the meal.
But more than that, they help create a place where people feel at home.

Good food is great.
But it’s the people that make it special.

Thank you to our incredible cook teams for serving so faithfully.
We see you. We appreciate you. And we are better because of you.

God,
In the middle of busy schedules and full hearts, help us slow down and remember You are near.
Bring peace to those who feel overwhelmed.
Comfort those who are hurting.
Give strength to those who are tired.
And remind each of us that we are never alone.

Guide our steps today, Lord.
Help us reflect Your love in all we do.

What a beautiful and powerful Youth-Led Sunday at Woodland Methodist Church this past Sunday.

Our students didn’t just participate. They led. They served. They shared their hearts.

We are so proud of our seniors:
Mattee Watford who reminded us to "Always Look Towards the Light"
and Addison McDuffie who encouraged us to "Slow Down and Walk with Jesus"

Their words were thoughtful, honest, and full of faith. They led us closer to Christ.

From greeting and ushering, to acolytes, communion, and worship leadership, our youth showed what it means to live out their faith. Not someday. Right now.

Take a moment to look through these photos and celebrate what God is doing in the next generation at Woodland.

Keep shining. Keep walking. We are cheering you on every step of the way.

Today we celebrate Earth Day. A reminder that this world is not just where we live. It is a gift we have been entrusted to care for.

Scripture calls us to be good stewards of all God has made. The land. The water. The people around us.

Take a moment today to slow down. Step outside. Notice the beauty around you. Give thanks for it.

And then ask yourself one simple question. How can I care for this gift a little better today?

Plant something. Pick up what does not belong. Encourage someone. Choose gratitude.

Creation points us back to the Creator. Let it draw you closer today.

“God will praise each one of them” (1 Corinthians 4:5 NCV). What an incredible promise! God will praise each of them. That day is coming. Your day is coming. God will put a crown on your head and a hand on your shoulder, and he will bless you.
Each child you hugged, he will praise you for it. Every time you forgave, he will praise you for it. Every penny you offered, every truth you taught, every prayer you prayed, he will praise you for it. He’ll praise you for the day you refused to give in and the season you refused to give up. But most of all, he’ll praise you for saying yes to Jesus.- Max Lucado
