As a strong cold front moves in tonight, we pause to lift up everyone who will be affected by these freezing temperatures. We ask for prayers of protection over our fern growers who will be out through the night, freeze-protecting their crops. May God keep them safe, warm, and watched over as they work to provide for their families and our community.

We also lift up those experiencing homelessness, asking the Lord to surround them with shelter, warmth, and caring hands. May doors open, resources be found, and hearts be stirred to help in their time of need.
Lord, be a covering over our community this week. Wrap us in Your peace, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. Watch over every person, every family, and every life touched by this cold. Amen.

Today we celebrate the amazing life of an incredible woman,
Dolores “Dody” Larrivee.

A Celebration of Life service will be held today at 11:00 a.m.

Please continue to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they honor her life, her love, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Church was truly wonderful yesterday. What a beautiful way to start this new year by renewing our baptism and setting our minds strictly on the Lord, choosing to glorify Him in every step. There’s something powerful about remembering who we are and recommitting our hearts to Jesus.

Matthew 3:13–17 reminds us of the beauty and purpose of baptism. How even Jesus stepped into the water in obedience, and how the Father affirmed Him:

“Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John… As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’” (Matthew 3:13–17)

Church family, we ask that you come together in prayer for all those involved in the horrible accident on SR-11 today. Please lift up the victims, their families, the first responders, and everyone affected. Pray for healing, comfort, strength, and God’s peace to surround each one during this difficult time.
