Second Sunday after Pentecost.

𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐑𝐞𝐰 πŸ—:πŸ—β€“πŸπŸ‘
⁹As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, β€œFollow me.” And he rose and followed him.
¹⁰And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples. ΒΉΒΉAnd when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, β€œWhy does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” ΒΉΒ²But when he heard it, he said, β€œThose who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. ΒΉΒ³Go and learn what this means, β€˜I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

All are welcome to a new study on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm. The topic is how the light of Christ shines in the darkness of today's religious landscape. We pray this will be an encouraging and fruitful time together, leading to Christian witness in truth and love. This week's discussion will be on Islam.

The Holy Trinity.

And the catholic faith is this,
that we worship one God in Trinity, and
Trinty in Unity, neither confusing the
persons nor dividing the substance.
For the Father is one person, the Son is
another, and the Holy Spirit is another.
But the Godhead of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
is one; the glory equal, the majesty coeternal.
