I believe we are entering a season where God is making it clear

You are not called to everybody…
and everybody is not called to you.

Real maturity is understanding your assignment and staying in your lane.

When you try to reach everyone, you dilute what God specifically entrusted to you.

Not every voice is meant to speak into your life we need to stop given everyone that access.

“And since you are within our assigned limits, we didn’t overstep our boundaries of authority by being the first to announce to you the wonderful news of the Anointed One.”

We are called to disciple people, not coddle them. If someone constantly has to hold your hand to make sure you don’t fall into sin, that may be a sign that you’re not applying what is being offered to you.

Hebrews 5:12–14“For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food… But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

Discipleship should lead to maturity, not dependency.

James 1:22“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

People must apply what they are taught.

Galatians 6:5“For each one shall bear his own load.”

Leaders can guide, but each person must walk out their own obedience.

2 Timothy 2:2“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

Discipleship is about training people to stand and teach others, not creating dependency.

1 Corinthians 3:1–2“I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able.”

Spiritual leaders help people grow, but people must also choose maturity.

Discipleship is meant to produce maturity. Leaders are called to teach, guide, and correct but every believer must apply what they are taught and walk it out. The goal is not dependency, but growth.

When God brings someone into your life to disciple you, it becomes your responsibility to apply what you are being taught and move forward in obedience so that one day you can go forth and disciple someone else.

What God has been doing through TikTok and in our lives has opened doors we never imagined, and we are humbled to step into this one.

✨ Faith Over Fear ✨

Yesterday while we were shopping, Josh looked at me and said,
“Yeah, I feel like we should really plan the trip to ______.”

I said, “Yes, I know we should but there’s that fear when you look at the bank account and don’t see the funds to do it.”

He looked at me and said, “When have we ever had the money to go on a trip? We just do it, and God provides.”

And he’s right. Back in 2019, we planned a trip to Canada and Dollywood with no money. But we made the plans in faith and God literally provided everything we needed to go.

Then Josh said something that stuck with me:

“That’s why most people never do anything because of fear.”

And he’s so right. Most people never take a step in the direction God is leading them because of fear. fear of failure, fear of finances, fear of the unknown.

But let me tell you this:
Even if it fails, you gained experience. But what if that step causes you to prosper?
You’ll never know unless you take the step.

This morning, as our friend got up to take the offering, he said something that confirmed it all:

“I’m not in the mood to be afraid. God has done too much for me not to have authority over fear.”

If God came through before, He will come through again.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

The season we are entering into is a very pivotal season. Everything that God wants us to get and accomplish in this season, is setting us up for the next season. A friend recently encouraged me saying, some seasons may be for learning faith, some for grace, some for love etc. Do you get what I am trying to say? Our seasons are not wasted, they are for purpose. We all have a call that God has placed in us that he wants us to pursue. Some of us might have a call to pioneer, maybe to be fire starters, maybe to be fathers and mothers, maybe some are called to the nations. I know that before we can accomplish any great call, he sets us up for success so that we can have every tool in our tool belt to accomplish what He wants.

A lot of times we get so caught up in what others are doing or saying, that maybe we feel like we’ve been rejected or not heard. But what the lord showed me is that if we do not keep our eyes on him and what he is wanting to do in this season, we will not gain the very tool that we need for the next season. God places people in our lives so that we can grow. A lot of times we think that we are fighting people when the Bible says, “Our fight is not against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness. We are fighting against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places.”

I heard the lord say, if we are not careful, we will allow the enemy to uproot what He doing in this season. We must know the spirit operating in our midst and remember that He has given us strategy to spray fire on the enemy in this season. Let us know what is in or midst and cast it out.

Let us be graceful, loving and honorable to those that God has placed in our lives, because we are all learning and growing into the fullness of what He has. Whether that is to love more, be graceful, be a good Steward, or let go of old patterns. I don’t know what God is trying to teach you in this season, but I know what it is for me and I want to choose to fully embrace all that He is trying too teach me so that I can be fully mature in what I need for the next season.

When sand gets into a clam, it begins to bring irritation to the clam until it forms a pearl.

So the question is, are we going to let the things that are irritating us bring out the best in us or are we going to let the things that are irritating us bring bitterness and judgment?

Let God bring out the pearl in you, then find the treasure in others and begin to pull it out of them. Ask the lord to give you eyes to see his people like He does.
