Is this the year your little one gets to experience their first night at camp? Beginner camp is June 28–30 and registration closes June 14th. It's just two nights, but for a K–2 kid it is the whole world — new friends, campfires, and a whole lot of fun.
Don't let finances stand in the way — campership funds are available and we want every kid who wants to come to be able to come. Send us a message and we will work something out.
Head to Presmont.org to get them registered. We can't wait to meet them!

📢Adult men… we need you to pour into our senior high young men June 7-12. We need male counselors to spend the nights in the cabins and minister to these men as they learn about going to the ends of the world and being a witness for Christ! Please reach out to us if you are able to come.

Camp Presmont is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA), which defines camp as “an experience within a temporary community using the outdoor setting and trained leaders to meet spiritual objectives”. Camp has a tremendous impact on young people. Dwelling in a temporary place encourages campers to explore God’s creation, take risks, form community, and build independence. Camp is a means of holistic spiritual formation and leadership development.

The purpose of Christian camping is to remind us where we came from and where we are going. In John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us”. The Greek word translated as “dwelt” is σκηνόω (skēnoō) the word implies a temporary residence or pitching a tent. Jesus Christ came to earth as a temporary sojourner (to camp) in order to redeem us from death and sin. "And they shall be my people, and I will be their God." Jeremiah 32:38 is a core covenant promise spanning from Genesis to Revelation. It signifies a formal relationship of mutual belonging, protection, and faithfulness between God and His people. Revelation 21:3 (ESV) states: “Behold, the dwelling place (tent) of God is with man. He will dwell (camp) with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.”

Since the beginning of recorded time, the Creator God has used “camp” experiences to remove people from their normal life to develop them and produce change. Moses, David, and many of the prophets were removed from their families and homes to be prepared for leadership. All of these “temporary” experiences in Scripture are versions of the same pattern we see in our society and world. Today we call these “temporary” experiences vacations, conferences, retreats, off-site strategic planning meetings, short-term mission trips, and college.

Camp Presmont’s Leadership Training is June 5-7 and the deadline for signing up is fast approaching. We need volunteer counselors and we will need lead time for background checks and online training, if you are interested in counseling. Please contact us. Deadlines for Senior High and Junior High are coming up as well. Sign up today and encourage your children’s friends to come along, as well as other people in your circle of influence.

“The petals tell the story,
of our salvation won.
The shape, the cross of Jesus,
our Savior God’s own Son.”

“The color white reminds us,
of love and purity.
His blood our sins forgiven,
and heaven a certainty.”

“And on each tip a message,
the color, crimson red.
To show how precious Jesus,
his blood for us he shed.”

“And in the center marking
our Lords deep agony.
A crown of thorns is showing
His love for you and me.”

"Now all who stop and wonder,
at this true sign of love.
Will see the love of Jesus
sent down from heaven above."

This legend tells of something
That is most certainly true
How Jesus came to save us
Christ’s love come down for you.”

This is an excerpt from the legend of the dogwood. Come to Camp Presmont and see the dogwoods for yourself.
