Pastor David, thank you for allowing God to work through you, for the time and love you pour into our church, and for the leadership and guidance you provide to our congregation. Thank you for the prayers, the encouragement, and the reminder to keep our eyes on the Lord. We are grateful for the heart you have for God’s people and the direction you are helping lead our church.

To your family, thank you for standing beside him and sharing him with our church family. Your love, support, and presence are a blessing to us, and we want you to know that you are just as appreciated and loved.

We know that ministry isn’t always easy, but we pray that you never forget how much you mean to us and how thankful we are that God brought you into our church family. We look forward to growing together in faith, serving our community, reaching others for Christ, and seeing all the wonderful things God has in store for Pleasant Arbor Baptist Church.

What a Blessed Day at Pleasant Arbor Baptist Church!

This morning at PABC, we had the special blessing of celebrating our beloved pastor, Pastor David Birchfield, and his wonderful family. It was truly a beautiful day filled with love, gratitude, fellowship, and, most importantly, the presence of God.

From Sunday School and the beautiful songs of praise to the Scripture readings, Kendall’s heartwarming speech, and the presentation of baptism certificates, every part of our service reminded us of just how good God is and how blessed we are to be part of this church family.

There was not a moment throughout the day when we didn’t feel God’s presence moving among us. Days like today remind us that the church is more than a building; it is a family brought together by faith, love, and a shared desire to serve the Lord.

We are truly grateful for Pastor David and his family, and we thank God for the love, dedication, and leadership they bring to Pleasant Arbor Baptist Church. We look forward with joyful hearts to all that God has in store for our church and our community as we continue to grow together in faith and service.

Pastor David, we are blessed to have you and your family as part of ours! May God continue to guide, strengthen, and bless you as you lead us in His will.

UPDATE:: Event moved to the ROC in Centre!

Just a reminder for those going, the vans will be leaving at 5pm tomorrow! There will be supper at 6pm with adult and children’s class to follow at PABC while the Block Party is happening. We can’t wait to see y’all tomorrow!

Good morning, church family!

This Sunday we will be having Service, Lunch, and Baptism at David and Kim's house.

We will not have Sunday School and Service will begin at 11am.

Please bring a chair and a change of clothes if you want to play in the creek!

We will be having bbq. Meat, buns, and sauce will be provided. Please bring sides to go with bbq (beans, slaw, desserts, etc).

What a wonderful Homecoming turn out for Pleasant Arbor! The Alabama Crossmen performed beautifully, David brought a spot on message, and the food as always was delicious. We love the things that are happening at our church and can’t wait to see what else God has in store for us before our next Homecoming celebration. Happy Sunday everyone!

Good evening, everyone! We are so excited to see you tomorrow morning at 10:30am for our Homecoming service! We won’t be having Sunday school, but we will have a special singing performance from The Alabama Crossmen and lunch to follow. If you are bringing a dish, please bring it from 9:30-10am.
