What do we do when we’re in a season where we’re unable to control the outcome? Where we just can’t “fix it” no matter how hard we try? How do we hold on to hope in the hard times?

Tuesdays are when The Community Dinner Church gathers. We're looking forward to seeing you this week.

MISSION & VISION: To gather around the table for free shared meal. We spend time in worship, prayer, gospel teaching, and community connection. It is our hearts desire to offer a full expression of church in a welcoming, relational setting.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
🥘 Free meal from 5:45-6:15. Menu: Sub Sandwiches , sides and desserts.
⏰ Doors open at 5:30, Meal 5:45, Bible Study and table discussions 6:15
🧍‍♂️New friends and getting to know others in a ‘come as you are’ environment.
📖 Spiritual discussion time: 6:15-7:00. We read a passage of Scripture and have table discussions about the meaning and application.
⏰ Take your time! The meal is free whether or not you stay for the table time discussions. There’s never any pressure.
👣 First steps. We want you to encounter Jesus and his people. We all have a story and come from different places. It’s ok if your journey to Jesus looks different.
👦 👵🏼 : All ages are welcome in this kid friendly environment. We love the opportunity to see an elementary aged student sharing about their day with middle aged person across the table from them.
✝️ We are intentionally creating space around the table for bellies to be filled, relationships to be formed, questions to be asked and Jesus to be encountered in the midst of it all.

Kaleo Church was born September 2024.

Join us on tomorrow, August 30th at 10:30 am as we acknowledge the work begun in 1893 by Piedmont Wesleyan Church and continue the vision of those founding members to transform lives through the Hope and Holiness of Jesus Christ.

Food and fellowship to follow service.

What should I wear? Jeans, tshirt, shorts, dress, whatever you’ve got in your closet is fine with us!

What should I bring? Nothing but yourself and a friendly face. We’ve got the food covered and would love for you to celebrate with us as we look back and what God has done and look forward with expectation at what this next year will bring.

Ephesians 3:20 tells us God's mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.� That includes helping us to renew our mind as Romans 12:2 directs.

Join us this week as we continue to look at and discuss the scientific evidence to support the biblical call of transforming our minds to be formed for the mission of Jesus! We worship through song, fellowship, teaching and time in the Word.

(Please note: 9:00 am Study Class on break until September)
10:05 - 10:30 am: Coffee, snacks and talking
10:30 am: Worship Service

If you're new or not sure what you think of Jesus yet, feel free to stop in for coffee, snacks and conversation time. No pressure to stay for the service, there's no strings attached!

Think you don't have the "right" clothes to wear? Jesus had dusty feet and a dirt covered clothes. There's no dress code. Suit and tie? Dress and heels? Jeans and converse? Shorts and sandals? Take your pick and enter a space to encounter Jesus.

Did you know that neuroscience studies actually confirm what the Bible teaches and commands? In Romans 12:2 we are told to be renewed by transforming our mind. The science backs up the fact that we are actually able to do this.
