Pastor Michael's sermon from Sunday, "Spiritual Maturity," from Ephesians 4:11-16 is now online.
Theme: The goal of every Christian is to grow into spiritual maturity by means of the ministry of the Word of God.
The ministry of the Word provides divine nourishment that strengthens the strong and heals the wounded, much like a physician or a gym instructor, depending on need. True maturity is measured not by personal holiness alone, but by the selfless, intentional use of one's gifts to serve others, reflecting Christ's own sacrificial love. Ultimately, the goal is to grow into the fullness of Christ, where every believer, equipped by Scripture and empowered by the Spirit, becomes a servant who is dedicated to edifying the church in love and truth.

Pastor Michael's sermon from Sunday, "Gifts Towards Spiritual Maturity," from Ephesians 4:11-16 is now online.
Theme: Christ gave foundational and continuing gifts to the church so that it may grow to spiritual maturity.
In this passage of Ephesians 4, we see that Christ, out of love for His church, has given the foundational gifts of the apostles and prophets and the continuing gifts of evangelists and shepherd/teachers. Missionaries are included in the category of evangelists, and while not everyone has the spiritual gift of evangelism, we are all called to share the gospel. We should also be praying for our missionaries and that the Lord would send forth more laborers into the Harvest. To help equip believers for the work of the ministry, the pastor-teacher's main job is to exercise spiritual oversight for the flock while laboring in prayer, teaching, and preaching. Ultimately, believers should focus on the personal, sacrificial love of Christ as the Good Shepherd who intercedes for His people and embrace our role in the ministry, finding our ultimate hope and joy in Christ alone, who is the perfect and eternal Shepherd.

Chris Burke's sermon, "Did You Know," from Luke 1:46-55 is now online.
Theme: Believers should be overflowing with the wisdom of God found in His Word to the point of prayer, praise, and rejoicing at all times. In this passage, we see Mary's profound response to the knowledge that she would bear the Messiah. This response was due to her deep immersion in Scripture, which enabled her to recognize the magnitude of God's favor and the fulfillment of ancient promises. Through her encounter with Gabriel and Elizabeth, Mary is revealed not as a passive recipient but as a faithful, scripturally grounded woman who immediately responds with worship, joy, and submission to God's sovereign will. Her Magnificat prayer, echoing Hannah's earlier prayer, demonstrates how a life saturated in God's Word naturally overflows in praise, recognition of divine reversal, and trust in God's mercy and faithfulness. Mary's example is not to be idolized but emulated: we as believers are called to know Scripture so deeply that our lives reflect continual rejoicing, prayer, and obedience, even amid life's trials. Let us seek to live lives marked by a Spirit-led, Scripture-saturated joy that glorifies God in all circumstances!
