The Christian life begins with a birth. When we receive the gift of salvation through belief and repentance, we are immediately born again. John 1:12-13, 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. We can also read about the new birth with Nicodemus in John chapter 3. This is what separates the gospel from religion. Religion is man’s effort to reach up to God. Salvation is God coming down to man and making him a new creation in Christ 😇🙏🏻4u river preacher
