Men of Maranatha, the MDC Fall Course kicks off this Saturday and is designed to help men grow in their understanding and handling of God's Word. Scripture teaches that the ministry of teaching is a calling for some, a gifting for others, and a responsibility shared by every believer.

Together, we'll work through The Simeon Trust's First Principles, an eight-session video course that introduces foundational skills for reading, studying, and teaching the Bible. Each session includes video instruction followed by discussion in small groups.

Whether you're discipling your children, in a mentoring relationship, leading a Bible study, or simply wanting to grow in your knowledge of God's Word, this course will encourage and equip you in taking the next steps.

On Tuesday, August 11th the greater Columbus area was hit by a large storm cell with pervasive winds. This storm caused significant damage to Maranatha Southside’s roof and interior spaces, including the church’s Compassion Ministry room. Maranatha was met immediately with help from members and the Ohio Disaster relief to help tarp the building until further repairs can be made. If you would like to help support the restoration of Maranatha Southside, you can contribute directly to the Building Restoration Fund.

Additionally, our Compassion Ministry lost the majority of its resources to water damage. If you would like to help us rebuild these resources, you can provide needed items through our Amazon Wishlist.

Maranatha is a family of churches across multiple locations, united in one mission: to make disciples of Jesus for the good of our cities and surrounding areas. We’d love for you to gather with us this Sunday as we continue through the book of Romans.

This week we’ll be in Romans 2:1–11, where Paul turns our attention to God’s righteous judgment and how it should remind us that God’s kindness is meant to lead us to repentance—not complacency.

Join us as we come together to seek the Lord in prayer on Sunday, July 12th at 6:00 pm. Pickerington, Canal Wi******er, and Southside congregations will meet at Maranatha Pickerington. Baltimore congregation will meet in Baltimore.

These prayer gatherings are a meaningful time to unite our hearts as one church body in worship and dependence on Him. Hope to see you there, church family!

Mark your calendars for this Compassion Ministry event on June 28 at 1:00 PM! Everyone is invited as we come together to connect with and serve our Southside community.

We need lots of helping hands to make it happen! There are opportunities for everyone to serve. You can grill hot dogs, create a playlist, help with setup or cleanup, donate food supplies, purchase gift cards, and more.
