One of the hardest things to keep under control is human emotion! Not only do they go up and down like a Ohio weather, what we FEEL can easily decieve us into believing things about OURSELVES and OTHERS that aren’t even true. The hard truth is, just because we FEEL something doesn’t mean we should BELIEVE IT or FOLLOW IT! Tomorrow in week 4 of SOUND MIND we are going to unpack the topic of UNPROCESSED EMOTIONS! Invite a friend or two and get to REAL Church tomorrow at 8:30/10:00/11:30am!

Everybody gets SAD or DOWN from time to time. We all face tough cirumstances, lose a family member we love, or get dissapointed by someone we trusted. But some sadness STICKS AROUND, GROWS ROOTS, and begins to NEGATIVELY AFFECT how we live our everyday lives. DEPRESSION is a complicated mental health challenge because of it’s many contributing factors. Thankfully, God has given us examples in Scripture of people who teach us how to MANAGE the darkest MOMENTS in life. Tomorrow at REAL Church we plan to offer biblcal HOPE for those who are HURTING. We also plan to IDENTIFY INDICATORS of MAJOR DEPRESSION, in order to help us recognize them in OURSELVES and in those we love and care about. God has given all of us PEOPLE and PRINCIPLES to help us have a SOUND MIND and manage our battles with DEPRESSION! I would humbly suggest inviting anyone you know who may be in a dark and heavy season to sit with you tomorrow. We are BETTER TOGETHER! See you at 8:30+10:00+11:30!
