Simple Church hosted the Embrace Grace baby shower and mom celebration! We had a beautiful time honoring our special guests who completed the Embrace Grace program this semester. Shout out to all the volunteers! Charles Parks used his amazing rapping talent to provide us with music throughout the event. Vicki & Mike catered the delicious lunch. Gina elegantly designed the gift baskets for our guests. James and Charles read the Daughter of the King letter to our guests. Treniece Rondo provided marvelous massages. Rachael, Sierra, Jamésa, Vikas, and wonderful co-leaders Christen and Eima volunteered to assist in many areas as needed. Tracie generously donated baby gifts. Pastor Aaron volunteered his time to participate in our red carpet walk for our guests. The unity present at our Embrace Grace gathering reminded me of 1 Corinthians 12:27: "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." Thank you to the body of Christ, all who participated!

Our spring Embrace Grace ended with a big celebration of our sweet moms. We had wonderful guests who celebrated with us to give them the honor and love they all deserve. These ladies blessed us weekly by sharing their innermost thoughts and emotions in their lives, and it was such a joy to get to know each one of them. John 16:21: "When a woman gives birth, she has pain because her time has come. But when the child is born, she no longer remembers her distress because of her joy that a child has been born into the world." These moms all will be such good mothers and may God bless their lives for all of their days!

Embrace Grace spring session begins this Saturday March 12th at 10:30 a.m. We are now meeting at the Simple Church building off Gender Road since it is on the bus line for greater access for women/girls to attend. If you are interested in attending this program or know someone who may be interested, please message me. This is an amazing program for single and pregnant ladies with refreshments and free stuff throughout the sessions.

Embrace Grace Baby Shower and Princess Day! December 11th, we celebrated our brave, young mom who is having a baby boy! Here are pictures of the baby shower and princess day. Due to confidentiality, we aren't posting her pictures but are sharing the pictures of what was done to make her feel like the daughter of the King that she is!

Big thank you to the Embrace Grace event volunteers: Angela, our makeup artist; Heather, our hair stylist; George Schumann, professional guitarist; Sierra, who helped decorate; James, who took photos; Vicki, who made the delicious dinner; and our wonderful guest speaker, Genevieve! Also, thank you to Kathy and James who shared their story with our group earlier in the semester and thank you to everyone who donated baby items and prayed for this ministry!

Each semester, Embrace Grace hosts a testimony night featuring real-life stories from people who faced unplanned pregnancy, abortion, adoption, or a related life situation, and how God saw them through it to gain victory in their lives. Our live Testimony Night is Thursday Nov. 18th at 6:30 p.m. If you have a story or testimony you would like to share, please contact us via Facebook messenger. Our Embrace Grace group made "God Can" jars, a reminder to put our trust, requests and needs into God's hands by asking Him for provision. We took time to write our needs on small pieces of paper, put them in the jar, give them to God, and as their needs are met, take them out, write the date, and say a prayer of thanksgiving to our great God! "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose eyes are fixed on you." Isaiah 26.3.
