Today is Good Friday.
The day the sky grew dark.
The day the earth trembled.
The day Jesus cried out… and gave His life.
Not because He had to.
Because He chose to.
On the cross, Jesus carried sin that wasn’t His, paid a debt He didn’t owe, and made a way for us to be forgiven, restored, and brought back to God. What looked like defeat was actually the greatest victory in history.
“Life over death” didn’t begin on Sunday.
It started right here… at the cross.
But the story isn’t over.
Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection - the moment everything changed forever. The grave is empty, hope is alive, and new life is available to all who believe.
We would love for you and your family to be with us this Easter.

🔥🎒 We’re Heading to FUGE Camp 2026! 🎒🔥
This summer, our student ministry is packing up and heading to FUGE Camp at North Greenville University, June 8–13, 2026!
FUGE is not just another trip. It’s a week designed for students to unplug from the noise, lean into real community, and encounter Jesus in a focused and intentional way. Think powerful worship, small group Bible study, high-energy recreation, and conversations that actually matter.
For our 6th–12th graders, this is one of those spiritual mile-marker weeks. The kind where friendships deepen, distractions fade, and the Lord does heart work that sticks long after the bags are unpacked.
We are praying this week becomes:
• A catalyst for bold faith
• A space for students to hear God clearly
• A memory that anchors them when life gets loud
If you have a middle or high school student, now’s the time to register and join us. Let’s go chase what God has for us this summer.

Today we celebrate the good news that changes everything. Jesus has come.
On Christmas, we remember that God stepped into our world, not with noise or power, but with grace and purpose. The Light entered the darkness. Hope took on flesh. Emmanuel, God with us.
Because Jesus has come, we have forgiveness, peace, and new life. Because Jesus has come, no one is beyond hope. Because Jesus has come, the story is not over.
Our prayer for you and your family today is that you would know the joy, peace, and assurance that comes only through Christ.
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11

Today our youth had the incredible opportunity to serve at the Operation Christmas Child processing center in Charlotte — on the very first day of processing for the season!

From opening cartons to inspecting shoeboxes and preparing gifts to be shipped around the world, our students jumped in with servant-hearted enthusiasm. It was inspiring to watch them work side by side, laughing, serving, and remembering that every box represents a child who will hear about the hope of Jesus.

We had a great time, and we’re so proud of how our students represented Christ and our church family today. Moments like these shape hearts, build unity, and remind us what it means to live on mission.

Amazing job, Xchange Students — you helped kick off this season of ministry in the best way! ❤️🎄🙌

What. A. Night! 🔵 Xchange Lock-In 2025 🔵
We had an incredible time at the Lock-In — from Big Air to late-night games, laughter, and worship at the Xchange! It was a night full of fun, connection, and truth as we talked about The Great Exchange — how Jesus traded His life for ours so we could be made new.
Huge thanks to our students for bringing the energy, our leaders for staying up through the night, and our church family for all the support. This was more than just a fun event — it was a powerful reminder of what God is doing in the lives of our students.
We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🙌

We rejoice in how God is moving at PFBC!
This past Sunday, October 5, we welcomed Brittany Lang and her children, Kennedy Lang and Colton Lang, into our church family. Brittany gave her heart to the Lord on Sunday, September 28, after the Morning Worship hour and comes as a candidate for baptism.
We also welcomed Stephen Rowland, a local teacher and coach, who comes having already trusted Christ as his Savior and followed Him in believers’ baptism.
Let’s celebrate these decisions and continue to pray for Brittany, Kennedy, Colton, and Stephen as they take these next steps of faith and grow in their walk with Jesus! ✝️💙
