New King James Version
16 For a righteous man may fall seven times
And rise again,
But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

Now help me out, but this is telling me. Unlike the wicked, who remain in their downfall, the righteous are characterized by their resilience, getting up again and again through repentance and faith, not by their own strength. The verse acknowledges that no one is perfect, but what matters is how one responds to failure—by turning back to God.

You can talk through your plans, listen to his wisdom, and let him handle what worries you. With God’s hands guiding you, you’ll enter each day with his grace and mercy, ready for whatever the day brings.

Prayer for Guidance
Dear God, everywhere I walk, let it be on your path. Everything I see, let it be through your eyes. Everything I do, let it be your will. For every hardship I face, let me place it in your hands. Every emotion I feel, let it be your Spirit moving in me. Everything I seek, let me find it in your love. My dear God, I thank you for this day. I ask not to know where I am going. But only to know and feel in the depths of my heart and soul that you are with me, that You are guiding me, that I am safe in the protection of your loving care. In Jesus’ name, I offer myself to you. Amen.
