Touching the community...with God’s love. The First Presbyterian Church of Phoenixville has been in this community for over 150 years, and we have changed as much as the community has. For the past few decades our focus has been on serving our community, particularly the most vulnerable people, providing food, clothing, shelter, assistance, and belonging. We also have a long-standing focus on music. Our congregation has a wealth of people willing to share their musical gifts, as you will certainly hear when you worship with us. We are part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), one of the few denominations who ordain women, and one of the only ones who ordain LGBTQ folks. We also recently amended our constitution to define marriage as between two people, and not just a man and a woman.
