An incredible night was had by all at our annual picnic this past Sunday! ā˜€ļø

We ate good food, drank coffee, laughed and talked with friends, new and old, got our faces painted, played games, watched Pastor Paul and others get dunked, and ended the night seeing a beautiful rainbow over our newly dedicated prayer garden at Hillview.

Thank you to all who attended and for all the volunteers who made it happen!

Sometimes weā€™re so distracted by what needs to be done that we miss the One who is right in front of us.

Join us tomorrow at 9 & 11am as we continue in our prayer series! And continue to challenge yourself over these next few weeks to practice sitting at the feet of a Jesus for at least 5 minutes a day.

We believe real connection and fellowship happens around a table, over a meal. Over the last few months, groups of New Story attendees have gathered in homes around town for At the Table Dinners to eat good food, hear peopleā€™s stories, and deepen community šŸ½ļøā¤ļø

If you participated in an At the Table Dinner this summer, we pray you were blessed by it! And if you didnā€™t, keep an eye out for the next offering of these dinners (or even invite some new friends over for a meal just because you can!)

Prayer isnā€™t about gaining control. Itā€™s about giving God access to us.

When we turn our face toward Him, we discover that He already sees everything, and somehow, He still loves us completely. Itā€™s terrifying. And deeply healing.
