Your life may be only 5 seconds away from change.

When we hesitate, our minds often talk us out of the very things that could improve our lives.

In this week's inspiring Sunday message, Rev. Richard Maraj shared how a simple 5-4-3-2-1 practice can help you overcome procrastination, take action, and live with greater courage.

Don't wait until you feel ready.
5...4...3...2...1. -- go!

During today's Sunday services, Rev. Richard Maraj drew from Mel Robbins' 5-4-3-2-1 "count down to success" method to teach that the greatest obstacle to spiritual growth is not a lack of knowledge, but the hesitation that keeps us from acting on what we already know.

The 5-4-3-2-1 method is a simple yet powerful tool for overcoming procrastinaion, doubt and fear. By counting backward — 5-4-3-2-1 — we interrupt the mental patterns that keep us stuck, and move from thinking to doing.

The power of the 5-4-3-2-1 method lies in its ability to cultivate three essential qualities for spiritual growth: discipline, action and courage. These qualities help us move beyond excuses, follow through on our intentions, and become more fully the people we are called to be.

DISCIPLINE is about honoring our commitments to ourselves and doing what we know needs to be done, even when we don't feel like it. Each time we act instead of procrastinate, we strengthen our self-respect, integrity, and trust in our own abilities. The countdown helps us break old habits and take that crucial first step.

ACTION is where faith comes alive. Positive thinking has value, but transformation requires movement. Rather than waiting until we feel motivated or ready, we are called to act. As we move forward, momentum builds, our confidence grows, and new possibilities begin to unfold.

COURAGE is essential to every stage of growth. It takes courage to change, to forgive, to love, to speak our truth, and to pursue our dreams. Courage is not the absence of fear; it is the willingness to move forward despite it. With every courageous step, we become more fully the person God created us to be.

In other highlights from the service, Rev. Stacy Macris Ros facilitated the affirmation, announcements, meditation and collection. Guest soloist Cassie Chilton inspired the congregation with her stunning performances of "The Climb” and “Beautiful," accompanied by Music Director Jeff Lowy and the band.

What if “doing your best” has nothing to do with perfection?

In this powerful message from our series on The Four Agreements, Rev. Beci reminds us that that doing our best is not about achieving more — it’s about living from our divine nature with honesty, compassion, and love. It's about giving it your all in the moment and releasing the rest of it.

Your best on your hardest day may look very different from your best when life is flowing easily … and that’s okay.
✨ You are already worthy.
✨ You are already enough.
✨ Your job is simply to show up fully and honestly … and to let love have the last word.
