August is our official summer vacay month for the Arise! Women’s Ministry. I am encouraging all participants to take the time to relax and enjoy these Saturday afternoons with friends and family; or just as importantly, caring for yourself. We will resume our studies and discussions in September so keep an eye out on the Arise! Women’s Ministry page for specifics regarding the topic and the Zoom link. My most sincere thanks to every woman who participates. I am overwhelmed by you investment and consistency. I love this ministry and all the women who allow me to share what the Lord gives. I look forward to learning and sharing and hearing your input and insight.

Let's be clear.
If you end up in a burning hell for all eternity, it won't be because you have a tattoo, or because you have a nose ring, or because you drink beer or smoke ci******es, or because you spent time in prison. It won't be because you didn't do enough good deeds. It won't be because you didn't belong to the right church. It won't be because of that dumb thing you did that you don't want anybody to know about. It won't be because of what anyone else did to you.
It will be because you refused to receive Jesus Christ (God the Son) as your personal Savior! HE already paid for all the stupid stuff you have done and all the stupid stuff you are going to do when HE died FOR YOU on the cross and rose again! HE offers salvation as a FREE GIFT because, let's face it, if it was up to us to earn it, we would have no chance.
The gift of salvation is there for you to receive. The decision is totally up to you. The price for your sins has been paid, the way to heaven for you has been made.

To all my sisters who are 50+: Its time to reinvent and reinstate the church mother. This time around along with being holy she can be approachable and sensitive. She can instruct, impart and influence. She can correct you without demeaning you. She's not trying to look or act 25; she recognizes the beauty of her season and wears it with grace and dignity. Her prayers reach the throne room. She takes time to encourage. She is a role model for her daughters and an example of godly womanhood to her sons. She is not perfect; she asks forgiveness and forgives. What say you sisters? Our daughters desperately need her to arise. This is our season to fulfill this noble calling.

He Husbands Us…
In the past it seems that this verse has been relegated to use for the sole comfort of widows and unmarried women. And while their hearts may have a special pain and need grace and comfort, He watches over each of us with a sacrificial and covenantal love that assures us of His unfailing fidelity. He loves us passionately despite our failings. He works tirelessly to see to our needs. He covers us with love and protection.
He “Husbands” us…
