Today we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, hope, and the enduring strength of the African American community.

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865—the day enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

As we honor this historic day, let us remember the sacrifices of those who came before us, celebrate the progress that has been made, and continue working toward justice, unity, and equality for all.

As we journey through life, we can trust that God's calling on our lives is never uncertain to Him. His faithfulness does not change with the seasons.
