Well its definitely getting hot out there again and as Donny always reminds me I'm no spring chicken anymore. The cool news is that we have three of our rescues thriving at the mission and they've been set free from he**in, m**h and domestic violence...that's what gives us our rocket fuel.

Today was a day where we partnered with other agencies..Residents of a homeless camp that had reached their deadline and needed to be gone by today. Phx Rescue Mission, Community Bridges and I believe it was Department of Public Safety all joined together to help these people pack up, move, or bring to services. Met really nice people with big hearts from both the agencies and the camp itself. One guy from the camp name John and his girlfriend showed superior leadership.. him and his girlfriend really stepped up and stood out. This is a tough day for anybody that's dealing with homelessness so it's so refreshing to see everybody working together from all sides. 💕💕💕

Sometimes we don't just rescue people… This pretty little girl we found laying outside of a dope house..We were told she was hit by a car, she walks with a limp and shakes her head because there som**hing going on with her ear...brought her to Halo Rescue where she'll have time to heal, get walked and be able to hang out with a bunch of buddies. 💕
She just jumped right into the van with us and she was giving everybody kisses. What a sweet little spirit she is . :)

God sent Mary to work with our team..she's going to be great to have along because she speaks Spanish and her life is quite a testimony. Let me tell you this girl is not a bit shy!! Ha! So glad to have her with us 💕

Here's a cool story, we met Lucy just before Christmas, Lucy was heartbroken because she had just lost her son and his ashes were in a plastic bag. Logan went out and bought her a pretty necklace that would keep some of his ashes close to her heart..today we ran into her again and yes she was wearing the necklace 💕
