There is a clever saying, "Eat right, exercise, be healthy, and die anyway." We all will die. Why? The Bible says it is because we have sinned. What is sin? the Bible tells us that sin is disobeying God's 10 commandments. 1.God is always first in our lives, 2. You shall have no idols (Don't love things) 3. Don't use God's name in vain. 4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. 5. Honor your father and your mother. 6. You shall not kill. 7. Don't commit adultery. (No s*x outside of marriage.) 8. You shall not steal. 9. You shall not lie. 10. You shall not covet. (Be content with what you have. It's OK to want a better life, but not in a way that it becomes obsessive,)
There are 2 verses in the Bible that concern me, one is Hebrews 9:27, "It is appointed unto men once to die and then the judgment." The other one is Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." So you might be saying, What did I ever do? Why am I being judged? The truth is we all have to stand before a holy God for judgment. And we will all be found guilty. Who hasn't told a lie or looked at a woman with lust or taken something that doesn't belong to them or used God's name in vain? So just like a normal courtroom, the judge says, "If you can't pay your fine, I will have to lock you up for a long time." God's courtroom is much the same, God will say the same thing, if you can't pay your fine, you will have to go somewhere for a long time. (Forever)
But the difference is in Gods courtroom, there is a man at the back of the courtroom who comes forward and says, "I have paid this persons fine for them already." His name is Jesus. He lived a perfect life, He never committed any sin, and He was crucified on a cross at Calvary as the substitution for our debt that we cannot pay. He was the perfect man. And if you will repent from your sins, (confess your sins and turn from them.) And trust Jesus alone for your salvation. (Eternal life) He will wipe your slate clean. That is what Jesus does for us.

Humility is all about the attitude of being totally dependent on the Lord. When God says it's important, then you'll see that it is a vital Christian trait, a vital characteristic, it is a Christian grace that God desires every single one of us to have.
No one can make us humble, but God blesses us in ways we could never do for ourselves to get our attention, to help us to understand how good He is, how gracious He is, that He has the best for us, He's planned the best for us for He has the power to give us the best for us if we will just listen to Him.
And humility, the life of humility, the way of humility, the spirit of humility, that's God, that's God's way. That's the way and the life of Jesus. And it's the way for you and for me. The only thing that really matters is that He gets His way. If He has His way, we will be blessed beyond all measure.
To the lost person, the unbeliever, until you have humbled yourself before the living God, through the grace that is given through His Son, Jesus Christ, who died at Calvary for your sins until you humble yourself and acknowledge that you are a sinner, that your sins have separated you from God, that you need forgiveness, that you're facing an eternal judgment without the forgiveness of God.
When it comes to judgment, you're going to be helpless. When it comes to eternity, you better have settled it on this side, because if you wait to long, it'll be too late. You can't settle it on the other side. There is a God. There is an eternity. There is a heaven and there is a hell. You may not like the thought of it but you can't change the eternal Word of God. His death paid the debt of our sins and guilt and shame once and for all. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, trust Him today as your Savior, your Lord and your Master. That is the spirit of humility that will get you from this life to eternal life. There is no other way.

Would you ever go fishing without a hook?
Would you ever try fishing without a hook? Have you ever tried to lead someone to the Lord? Jesus said we would be fishers of men. What should we use as a hook? If you have ever talked to someone with the intent of converting their soul, what should you say? What does the Bible say? Psalm 19:7 says, “The Law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.” The Law of the Lord converts souls. Have you ever been in a discussion with someone and you want to lead them to Christ, what do you say? What does the Bible say? Galatians 3:24 tells us, “Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.” To lead someone to Christ, we are told that the Law leads them.
Lets look at the words of Jesus. Here is a story that can be found in Matthew 19:16, Mark 10:17 and Luke 18:18. It seems a rich young ruler runs up to Jesus and says, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Has that ever happened to you? How would you answer that? The answer Jesus gave is, "You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not commit false witness, Honor your father and your mother.” Is that what you might have said?
Luke also tells us of another occasion (Luke 10:25) when a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” Once again, Jesus answered, “What is written in the Law? What is your reading of it?” Once again, Jesus refers to the Law.
The Law is the hook. If I'm going to punish my grandson, I make sure he understands why I am angry. If a policeman arrests someone, he makes sure the person knows the charges they are being arrested for. And if we tell people they need to come to Jesus for salvation, they must be told the reason that God's wrath will be poured out on them. It's because we, (actually me, and I'm sure, many of you also) are lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterers at heart. We've all broken God's Laws. 'For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.“ Yes! I do need forgiveness! And speak gently from your heart as a doctor who is telling his patient he has the cure for his disease or as a fireman would who is trying to save a family from a burning building, Do it in love. Talk to them as if you really care about them. Once they see that they are outside of God's plan of salvation, only then will they see a need to repent and trust in Jesus. The church is God's plan to save the world. There is no plan “B”.

So I can prove the existence of God in about 30 seconds. If you look at a painting, how do you know there was a painter? The painting exists. The painting proves there was a painter. When you look at a building, how do you know there was a builder? The building proves there was a builder, the building is the evidence. And when you look at creation, you know there was a creator. Creation proves there was a creator. (Overheard from Ray Comfort.)
My next question is, What came first, The heart, or the blood, or the veins? What did it do until the other parts showed up? Did they all appear at the same time? How do the lungs fit into this equation?
Why are there no transitional life forms? Some say they do exist, but they are all controversial. If we came from some other life form, why isn't it obvious?
If evolution does exist, how long does it take for a one celled life form in the ocean to evolve into a two celled life form? How long until it grows legs and crawls across the ocean floor? How long until it climbs up on land and then evolves into a ….what? Mammal? How many million years? Or should I say billion? There just isn't enough time for life to have evolved this far without help.
And why do we have a conscience? In a theory where we evolve because of the “Survival of the Fittest,” Why do we have a conscience to tell us right from wrong? (The Bible tells us why.)
And if you believe in evolution, aren't you glad that the male of our species evolved at the same time as the female of the species? What are the chances of that?

WHAT IF IT'S TRUE?
What if there really is a hell? (Matthew 10:28)
What if it really is a place of eternal torment, a place of literal flames that actually burn and torture everyone in them? (Luke 16:24)
What if the smoke of those torments go up eternally? (Revelation 14:10-11)
What if it is a place of eternal darkness? (Matthew 25:30)
What if you do fall forever and forever in a bottomless pit? (Revelation 9:2)
What if you are totally cut off from God? (Matthew 7:23)
What if you are totally cut off from every other human form, what if you are lost forever, burning in physical torment but also burning in lust that will never be satisfied? (Luke 16:24-25)
What if God takes His place on a great white throne and sits in judgment on every individual who has ever lived? (Revelation 20:11, Ecclesiastes 12:14)
What if He does separate the sheep from the goats? (Matthew 25:32) His friends on the right and hypocrites on the left? (Matthew 25:33)
What if He actually does condemn all those on His left to the hell fire prepared for the devil and his fallen angels who dared to defy God? (Matthew 25:41)
What if this is a place where the only sound you hear is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth? (Matthew 13:50)
What if there is nothing that can stop the eternal roar of screams? What if it really is everlasting fire? (Mark 9:45)
What if it's true that you have all eternity to remember how you rejected the mercy and grace of God? And you did nothing?
What if it's true?

Please read this flyer to the end.

If you were running for office and you
thought it was OK to kill Mexicans or
Indians, black people or, women, or any
group, it doesn't matter who it is. I would
not vote for you.
When you vote for abortion, then you are
saying it is OK to kill Mexicans, blacks,
Indians, whoever, you're just choosing
another way to get it done.

We live in a society where people are
marching for the right to kill their own
children.

There will be a day when young children
will gasp in horror and unbelief when they
hear that babies were vacuumed out of their
mothers wombs piece by piece.

Please share this with someone else when
you are done reading it.

Why Would A Good God Send People to Hell?

God doesn't send people to hell. Actually we were already on our way to hell, and what God did is, He gave us a way out. It's like a ship that's sinking and someone is like, “Hey!, There's a lifeboat.” You can choose to get on the lifeboat, but if you reject the lifeboat you automatically go down with the ship. Our sin was already taking us to hell., and God gave us Jesus and said, “This is the lifeboat.” But if you reject the lifeboat you're automatically going where you were already headed. God didn't send you there.

What if there is nothing that can stop the eternal roar of screams? What if it really is everlasting fire? (Mark 9:45)
What if you have all eternity to remember how you rejected the mercy and grace of God?

What can you do about it?

Have you admitted to God that you are a sinner? (See the 10 Commandments to see what God considers to be sin. Exodus 20:3-17) Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever taken something that doesn't belong to you? Have you always made God first in your life? Is there anything in your life that you consider to be more important than God? (That would be an idol) Have you ever used God's name as a cuss word?

We are all guilty, There is none without sin. (Romans 3:23) But God has made a way for us to escape punishment. Jesus has paid the price for our sin.

It's like you have committed a crime and you are standing in a courtroom and you know you are guilty, the judge knows you are guilty, everyone knows you are guilty. The judge sets your fine, it is an amount you can never pay. You have no hope, then from the back of the courtroom, a man you don't even know comes forward to pay the fine for you, The judge says that justice has been served, you are free to go.
That is what Jesus did for you. He knows you can't be perfect, but He wants to have a relationship with you. He wants you to turn away from your sinful lifestyle and follow Him.

Will you do that today?
