Church of Christ - Worldwide As it says in Romans 16:16... all of the churches of Christ greet you! We invite you to worship God

Throughout Jesus' ministry, he promised to build His church on the rock...that He was the Christ the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16-18). On the day of Pentecost following the time when Jesus went up to heaven, Acts chapter 2 records the gospel (good news) message that Peter preached. After hearing that message 3000 people were baptized (a Greek word meaning to immerse or dip) for the forgive

ness of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:41 says: Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. (KJV)

Acts 2:47 says: And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (KJV)

That was the start of Jesus church (approximately A.D. 30). The Lord added to His church then, and the Lord adds to His church today as people hear, believe and obey the gospel call. We invite you to hear the good news of Jesus that is taught in the Bible. The purpose of this page is not to repeat the words of the Bible, but to provide a convenient online directory of where the church meets throughout the world.
