Move To One doesn’t end here!

Something we like to say Phoenix Bible Church is this is the start of the conversation, not the end of one. Discipleship happens every day, not just on Sundays, not just Coffee meetings, and not just that small group.

We were made for relationship, so how are you finding that today? Maybe it means you need to join a group or class, maybe it means you need to serve, or maybe it means to look for that person you can meet one on one as we strive to live our faith together.

The goal isn’t check boxes, it is a full life transformation; from death to life, sinner to sanctified, and dark to light.

What’s your next move?

Sunday was a reminder of something at the heart of Phoenix Bible Church: we are imperfect people moved by the perfect love of Jesus.

Jesus moved toward us first, and now He invites us into His mission. Not simply to attend church, but to follow Him and help others do the same.

Love Jesus. Live like Jesus. Lead others to Jesus.

Maybe your next move is joining a group, serving, giving, opening your home, inviting someone to coffee, or taking a step toward Jesus for the first time.

Make room to move!

Today we had the call not to be at church that gathers 52 times a year for a talk, but to be at church that is on fire for the mission of Christ!

Our goal at Phoenix Bible Church is too love Jesus, live like Jesus, and lead others to Jesus; how we say that his love moves!

So what does love moving in your life look like? Maybe it looks like entering a discipleship relationship, joining in with a group at PBC, or signing up to serve on a team.

Do you wanna have impact, at your work, school, and in your life?

The biggest impact you can make is by carrying the love of Jesus everywhere you go. Bigger than any project or position, do you get the opportunity to change your life in the lives of those around you!

So what’s your first step? Maybe it’s changing the way you work, maybe it’s sharing the gospel with someone around you, or maybe it looks like jumping into a community of believers.

It’s not just what you do. It’s how you do it.

Colossians 3:23 calls us to work heartily as for the Lord. That means our jobs can become places where we serve people, reflect Jesus, and make an impact beyond ourselves.

Serve well. Rest well. Finish well.

Your career is temporary; what Jesus does through your faithfulness can last.

Who gets the glory of your life? At the end of the day, you don’t answer to your boss you’ll answer to God. So give him the glory of your work, home, and life.

Work is hard. Sometimes really hard.

But Scripture gives me a bigger question than, “How do I escape this?” It asks, “How can God use this as I go through it?”

Everyday faith isn’t meant to be lived alone. It starts with Jesus and grows in community.

My hope this Sunday is that you don’t just come to a service, but that you leave changed by the love of Jesus and encouraged by the people around you.
