VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!!!

Career Day at Harold W Smith Elementary
Thursday, Nov 7th, Harold W. Smith school is hosting a Career Day for their students with the help of Lifebridge @ Pure Heart Church. Even the littlest learners are posed with one of life’s biggest questions, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” What an awesome way to show kids the possibilities! Career Day gives students an up-close look at different career paths and connects their learning to the real world. Students get the opportunity to listen to presenters, ask questions, and consider what careers pique their interest. Help them dream of their futures – give them a vision of what is possible!

So excited to share this great moment of a mom and daughter after spending two weeks in Safe lots to get back on their feet, they got the keys to their new apartment! 🔑 We are so proud of them for their hard work and persevering!

What is Safelots? 🚘 👩‍👧‍👦

The Safelots initiative gives a safe place to unsheltered mothers and children. Safe sleep, a hot meal, a shower, a place to do laundry, and weather relief are all provided! 🙌
