He is Risen!! Easter morning was a beautiful celebration of the the Risen Christ starting with a Sunrise Service planned by our Youth Group. Beautiful prayer and music combined with great weather made the service very meaningful. After service the youth prepared and served breakfast in the quad and it
gave us a wonderful opportunity to visit and enjoy the beautiful day.
The 9:30 am service brought together our English, Tongan and Haitian members for yet another inspirational service. We are so blessed at Trinity. If you would like to join us we have the following worship services:

Holy Saturday, day 2 of Youth Easter Camp brought many activities. The kids held a worship service at Hole in the Rock trailhead at Sunrise. They were back on campus around 8:30am to break into teams and complete projects around church. They finished the last couple of projects in our prayer chapel, packed emergency food bags for, those with food insecurities, folded clothes and packed away summer clothes in our Thrift Store, made cards for our homebound members, cleaned the nursery, did some landscape chores and cleaned out the catch-all breezeway. After a break and lunch they went to work on skits based on Bible verses. Everyone was a part of this program with the older kids working to help the younger ones. A wonderful dinner together was followed by the skit presentations in the Sanctuary. They were done so well by each team. To end the night, awards were presented. The kids had earned points in several categories but in the end it was very close and all are true winners. Tomorrow they will lead Sunrise Service and provide breakfast after. It was a faith filled, grace filled weekend led by our wonderful youth leaders and just another testament to how great our God is!

Good Friday brought a thoughtful yet somber evening service and the first night of our Youth Easter Camp. After service we broke bread together and our youth shared why the wanted to be here. Prayer and music was a beautiful part of our evening. We're so blessed by these kids. Thank you, Lord, for sharing them with us.

Tongan Youth Weekend - March 2026.
Trinity Youth did an amazing job representing us last weekend. Friday night was singing, Saturday was dance and Sunday was a beautiful Worship service and of course a feast followed each day.
Take a look at our kids and all the kids representing 7 churches. It was an awesome experience to witness them worshipping with voice, dance and prayer. Thank you to Bishop Carlo, DS Melissa and DS Timote for joining us on this special weekend.

Our kids treated us to a dress rehearsal performance at church today. They did an amazing job with several beautiful numbers, both singing and dancing. Next weekend will be the youth event in Mesa and our kids are ready to represent Trinity UMC Phoenix . We're so proud of them and ask God's blessings on all!

My prayer for this moment:

God of mercy, justice, and peace:
Guide our country with your vision, not ours, at this time. Hold our service members, our soldiers and sailors and airmen, who are now in harm’s way, and their families in your care. Shield the innocent people of Iran, Israel, and other countries throughout the Middle East who will be impacted and hurt.
We pray for a quick cessation to hostilities, for the emergence of honest and meaningful diplomacy, and for the restoration of stability and an end to violence in all its forms.
We pray that Israel and all of Iran’s neighbors no longer have to live in the shadow of threats, terrorism, and vows of destruction.
We pray for the opportunity for Iranians to build a society for themselves that honors their cultural dignity and history, and provides them with constitutional freedoms and human rights protections.
We pray that Iran may see free and fair participatory self-governance, with educational access and economic prosperity for all of its diverse populations.
In your name Christ Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
