Michelle will be missed greatly! Rev. Adero

It is with a heart of sadness I share the passing of our dear sister in the Lord, Michelle Thomas. She was a faithful friend and Christian worker with the Affirming Christian Fellowship. Every annual conference was enriched by her beautiful smile and faithful servant spirit as she arrived early, greeting everyone and went straight to work doing whatever was needed to ensure the conference was a success. She will be greatly missed but I look forward to her greeting me as we see each other again in heaven. I Am An Overcomer

God has promised that as His child I will not be overtaken with temptation. There are so many distractions and temptations in this world. There are times when it would be so easy to just yield to this one little temptation. Yet, that's how it starts. Just one little inch. Then before I know it an inch becomes a yard, becomes a mile, becomes a life wasted yielding to every temptation known to humanity.

God has promised to keep me safe from temptation. That's why I am an overcomer. He provides ways for me to rise above the temptations of life and be steadfast in my faith. I trust in God to have angels watching over me to keep me safe so that I don't fall down the rabbit hole of temptation and then never find my way out.

It's not supernatural or ignorant superstition to trust God, it's just common sense. With His promises of protection all around me my life's journey gets a lot smoother. The things that tempted me in my youth are no longer pleasing to me as I keep my focus on Christ and God's plan for my life.

ACTION: When temptation raises its ugly hand earnestly talk to God first - then watch Him work to make a difference in your life. 💜

Baptism at Casa de Cristo

Baptism is a sacred rite taken to demonstrate commitment and dedication to the teachings in the scriptures and a life redeemed through faith. At Casa de Cristo we baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This is a practice set apart in prayer to honor our relationship with Christ and the Kingdom of God. If you have newly accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior and want to participate in the rite of baptism to further express your commitment, or if you are seeking a visible way to rededicate your life to Christ, let us know by completing the request for Baptism form. Baptisms at Casa are not monthly events so dates and locations will be shared when a service is scheduled. All baptisms are held in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.
