Parents of youth turning 14 and up, please remind them of the multi-stake youth conference on Saturday. It starts at 5:00 and Elder Lund, the General Young Men's President will be there for a fireside. Later on, there will be dinner and a dance, with it ending around 10:00.

Brothers and Sisters of the Shadow Mountain Ward,

Five years ago you sustained my counselors and I as the bishopric of this gem among the great wards of the church. It has been such a blessing to serve in this capacity and we have felt your sustaining love and prayers and witnessed your love for one another and the Savior as we have served with you. I hope you have felt our love and prayers for you in return.

This coming Sunday August 28th at 9am my counselors and I will be released and we will have the opportunity to sustain a new bishop and his counselors. Please come and invite your ministering families to join us for this significant sacrament meeting.

I know the Lord directs this work and I look forward to sustaining our new bishopric.

Reminder for our 4th of July breakfast celebration. Please invite a friend to join us. We will start promptly at 7:30am with a flag ceremony, breakfast will be served directly after and we will end and begin clean up at 9:00.

**Please plan to stay and help with cleanup. Many hands make light work and the help is always needed and appreciated.**

Our stake is partnering with our community and other churches in the area to host a rummage sale benefiting the Ukrainian refugees. This will be held May 7 at the Stake Center. Donations will be accepted on May 4, 5, and 6. This is a huge undertaking, all happening in a very short span of time! The success of this rummage sale depends upon donations of items to be sold, and upon people volunteering to help. Thank you for donating, volunteering, and sharing information about the sale with your friends and neighbors!
