Sharon held onto a dream for years, even when the path forward felt uncertain.

After losing her mother and facing ongoing financial hardship, continuing her education became difficult. For a time, it felt like her future was standing still while others moved ahead. Still, she kept hoping and kept moving forward.

With perseverance and support through MOHI’s skills training program, Sharon was able to study fashion design and begin working at Stitches of Hope, MOHI's garment production unit. Today, she is creating garments, supporting herself, and continuing to grow in both her skills and her faith.

This Easter, we celebrate the hope we have in Jesus Christ, our Savior, who died and rose again, bringing new life to the world.

Because of the resurrection, we are reminded that darkness does not have the final word, brokenness is not beyond redemption, and hope is never lost. In every community where MOHI serves, we see glimpses of that resurrection hope at work, as lives are transformed by the love and hope of Christ.
