Desert Mission Anglican Church We joyfully proclaim the Good News about Jesus Christ! Because of him you can receive new life, peace in the present and a sure hope for the future.

He is alive, he is Lord, and he has begun the renewal of all things, starting with his people, the church. Here at DMAC, we do our best to incorporate the practices of the historic Christian Church in a way that continues to speak powerfully to today’s world. Our worship is shaped by what we call the Three Streams:

The Scriptures – You can expect to hear the Bible read, taught, and prayed in our

services. The Holy Scriptures are our authoritative guide to faith and practice. The Sacramental – Our worship follows an ancient pattern (called a liturgy) that is interactive and culminates in the celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion. The Spirit – We believe God the Holy Spirit moves powerfully today as he did in the early Church. The Holy Spirit changes our hearts to be more like Jesus and empowers us for mission.

As we step into 2025, many of us feel a mix of excitement, uncertainty, and hope for something better, often placing our trust in self-improvement efforts that inevitably fall short.

Simeon, however, shows us that true hope is not found within ourselves but in God’s promises, as he waited for the Messiah and recognized in Jesus the fulfillment of God’s plan to redeem all people. This same Jesus, God’s Son, grew to reveal God’s immense love for humanity, forgiving sins, conquering death, and offering eternal hope through His Spirit.

While human plans and institutions may fail, God’s unshakable plan—to unite all things in Christ—moves forward, granting us of peace and purpose.
