Today we celebrate the feast day of Fr. Peter Teresa's namesake, St. Teresa of Calcutta!

This radiant saint who spent her life loving like Jesus, experienced 50 years of darkness, feeling like God was hidden from her.

She said, "Jesus...if my pain and suffering, my darkness and separation gives you a drop of consolation, my own Jesus do with me as you wish, as long as you wish...I am your own." Let us learn from this incredible saint that offering our suffering to Jesus is one of the best gifts we can give Him.

Happy Feast of the Assumption! Mary's body and soul assumption into Heaven should convict us that our bodies are good!

Jesus desires us to be in Heaven, body and soul. Today let us surrender the parts of our bodies that we wish were different, the bodily suffering we experience, knowing that according to Jesus, our bodies are very good and worthy of Heaven.
