KPC JUNIOR DIVISION ESTABLISMENT IN PHX

Yesterdays Mass was celebrating an auspicious occasion. After 21 years, the Knights of Peter Claver & Ladies Auxiliary Council & Court 369, established their 1st Junior Claver division here in Phoenix. 7 girls and 5 boys said yes and answered the call to service.

Initiation ceremonies and jr. officer elections were held Saturday Aug 19th, at Ss. Simon & Jude Cathedral School. National and district senior and junior leaders came from across the the country to witness and support this special moment.

It all culminated with a blessing from Fr. McNair at Mass of the newest members of the fraternal order. Two new members were added to Council 369 under the leadership of Grand Knight Lackey. Bro. Knight Bill Board, appointed as Vice Grand Knight and retired Air Force Captain, Bro. Knight Stan Sebastian who was appointed as the Jr. Knights Commander. On the Ladies’ side, Lady Amoy Peret-Sebastian is the elected Jr. Daughter Counselor.

Please join us in congratulating everyone for answering the call to grow this noble order and do the work of Christ.

The Black Nurse Association of the Greater Phoenix Area (BNAGPA), established in 1976, is a non- profit organization,
consisting of registered nurses, student nurses, and professional associates. The organization was created to improve the
health status of African Americans and other underserved minority communities in Arizona, by providing health education
to promote and improve the health care needs of those communities.
