"Help Us Accept Each Other" (no. 560 in The United Methodist Hymnal) is a powerful hymn on reconciliation and forgiveness. Rooted in Romans 15:7 — "Receive one another, then, just as Christ also received you, to God's glory" — it calls us to love others "as we find them, or as they may become."

🎵 Help us accept each other
as Christ accepted us;
teach us as sister, brother,
each person to embrace.
Be present, Lord, among us,
and bring us to believe
we are ourselves accepted
and meant to love and live.

The hymn also reflects Ephesians 4:15: “But practicing the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ, who is the head.”

Celebrating Amelia: Join us in honoring Amelia for her hundreds of hours of service to our children as she heads to college! 🎓

Where and when do you encounter stillness in your soul?

"Be Still, My Soul" (no. 534 in The United Methodist Hymnal) is an 18th-century German hymn written by Katherine von Schlegel and translated by Jane Borthwick. The song invites us to focus less on our cares and more on the strong presence of God in our lives. Though the world around us changes, God's faithfulness remains.

It is a timeless message! 🙏

"Sweet Hour of Prayer" (number 496 in The United Methodist Hymnal") reflects on the refreshment offered in a personal connection with God--here presented through personal prayer time.

"In seasons of distress and grief;
My soul has often found relief,
And oft escaped the tempter’s snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!"
