Revelation Wellness® is a non-profit, 501(c)3, ministry dedicated to educating and inspiring people to live healthy and whole lives in Christ so we can love others well. We're headquartered in Phoenix, but have 2000+ instructors in communities and churches all over the world. Founded by Alisa Keeton in 2007, we started the ministry at Living Streams Church in Phoenix, Arizona by providing “open to
the community” fitness classes called Revelation Fitness. We desired to breathe fresh hope into the fitness world, and provide a new way for people to meet together and grow in love for God and for one another. (Isaiah 43:19)
Soon after Revelation Fitness took off, Alisa wrote The Wellness Revelation. The Wellness Revelation is a faith-based weight-loss and wellness program that teaches people how to live healthy and whole lives in Christ, while serving those who suffer from physical and spiritual poverty around the world. You don’t have to live in a mud hut in Africa to be poor. Poverty lies within all of us. And yet Jesus tells us that when we are poor then we are blessed. (Matthew 5:3) And that is where we have everything. Because then we are His. Being His is where wholeness begins. In 2010, God made it clear that Revelation Wellness® has a global call-to-action. He charged us to “Raise up an army!” because the harvest is plenty but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37). In that same year Revelation Wellness® Instructor Training was launched, and is successfully sending out hundreds of “missionaries” in the field of fitness & wellness, to this day. Revelation Wellness® was founded on the premise that as the Body of Christ gets healthy and whole, by the power of the love of God, we will be fit for our purposes:
To proclaim and show the love of God down the roads less traveled. By the power of God, and the gift of His good grace, Revelation Wellness®, it’s students, instructors and partnering donors will impact the world for good by bringing health and healing into a lost and hurting world.
