Choral Evensong 🎶 Sunday, Feb 1 @ 5pm 🕯️ On Candlemas 2026, All Saints' Episcopal Church-Phoenix will join in the ancient tradition whereby Christians take their candles to their church, where they are blessed and then used for the rest of the year. 😇 These blessed candle serve as a symbol of Jesus Christ, who is the Light of the World. 💛 All are invited to bring bundled tapers or pillars to be placed on the table by the altar for blessing. 🙏🏼 Altar servers will be on hand to assist you. 🫶🏼

A Blending of Our Advent Traditions! 🎶🗣️🎶 Coming up this Sunday, we are going to try a new event here at All Saints' Episcopal Church-Phoenix: Lessons AND Caroling❣️ After a traditional Advent Lessons & Carols service with our dedicated choir and choristers (and harp! ✨🪉✨), we will gather on the church patio for hot cocoa and favorite Christmas songs before making the walk over to Maryland Gardens to share gifts and carols. 🎁🧑🏼‍🎄🎁

CHORAL EVENSONG on Wednesday, November 20 at 7 PM to keep the Feast of St. Cecilia, patron saint of music and musicians! The music planned for this service is some of the finest music in our tradition; the choir has been working on music for this service since September, including Orlando di Lasso's 16th century ode to music, Musica Dei donum (Music, gift of God), Benjamin Britten's Hymn to St Cecilia — a classic in 20th century choral repertoire — and a glorious, meditative new setting of the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis by Sarah Rimkus. Please join us! 🙏🏼🎶🙏🏼

This time tomorrow we hope you're headed to All Saints' to keep the Feast of St. Cecilia, patron saint of music and musicians! his year, we are using it as an opportunity to try a new offering: a Choral Evensong on Wednesday, November 20 at 7 PM. It will still use the tried and true liturgy from 1662, but at a new time: a weekday evening that we hope will be convenient for those who wish to listen and celebrate with us, and a way to uplift your spirits during the week.
