Solomon could have asked God for money, influence, power, long life, anything. But he asked for an understanding heart so he could discern between good and evil.

That is what we need again in the church. It is not just about hearing God or having a gift. We need wisdom and understanding to know what we are seeing, what God is saying, and how to carry it the right way.

The motive matters. Ask God for discernment, not just influence.
