So tomorrow I have the honor to preach on one of the most important days in spiritual history- Resurrection Sunday.
But I did not wish to approach it from the classic traditional style message so many have already heard. Here in America we don't have Kings or Lords or Emperors or any real understanding what it was like to live under that type of a system... But we do have something similar.
I present to you the parable of the Corporate Messiah:
EVERLIFE HOLDINGS LLC
By Pastor David Knight
There was once a massive global corporation called EverLife Holdings. It promised security, success, and a future—but most employees felt overworked, underpaid, and quietly anxious about what would happen to them in the end.
The company had a benefits package, of course—but it was complicated, conditional, and full of fine print. Only the top performers ever seemed confident in it.
Then one day, a new hire showed up.
He didn’t arrive with fanfare. No executive title. No corner office. Just a simple badge and a quiet presence. His name was Jesus.
He worked in the lowest levels—break rooms, call centers, maintenance floors—spending time with people others overlooked. He listened. He helped. He restored hope in people who had nearly given up.
But what really caught attention was what He kept talking about.
“There’s a better benefits plan,” He would say.
“Full coverage. No fine print. Guaranteed forever.”
People laughed at first. “Nothing’s free here,” they said.
But He continued:
“This plan isn’t based on your performance. You don’t earn it—it’s given. It covers everything—failures, debts, even what comes after your career ends. And it never expires.”
Some employees leaned in.
“How do we sign up?” they asked.
“Trust me,” He said. “Follow me. I’ll take care of the rest.”
As word spread, more employees started gathering around Him. Productivity didn’t drop—but something deeper changed. People had peace. Purpose. They treated each other differently.
And that made management nervous.
The corporate managers—experts in policy, procedure, and control—began to push back.
“This undermines the system,” they said.
“If people stop striving, everything falls apart.”
“He’s bypassing our structure.”
They called Him in for review after review, trying to trap Him in His own words.
“Who authorized you to offer this plan?” they demanded.
Jesus replied calmly, “The Owner.”
That answer didn’t sit well.
Eventually, they escalated the situation to Corporate Security—the enforcers of company order.
One of Jesus’ own coworkers, afraid of losing his position, quietly pointed Him out to them.
He was detained, publicly discredited, and terminated in the most humiliating way possible—made an example of, so no one else would follow.
His access badge was deactivated.
His name was dragged through the system.
And His file was archived.
His followers were shaken.
“That’s it,” they thought. “We were wrong.”
For a few days, everything went quiet.
Then… reports started surfacing.
Sightings. Conversations. Encounters.
“He’s back.”
“I talked to Him.”
“He’s alive.”
At first it sounded impossible. But one by one, His former coworkers saw Him again—not as a rumor, but in person.
Same voice. Same authority. Same peace.
And this time, they understood.
The termination wasn’t the end—it was part of the plan.
He gathered them together one last time.
“The policy is real,” He told them.
“It’s already been paid for in full. There’s nothing left for you to earn.”
They listened, stunned.
“Now go,” He said. “Tell everyone. Every department, every level. Make sure they know they can enroll—no matter their past, their record, or their rank.”
“What about you?” they asked.
He smiled.
“I’m heading back to the resort—to prepare a place for each of you. When it’s ready, you’ll be with me.”
And just like that, He was gone from their sight.
But not from their mission.
From that day on, His followers spread throughout the company—break rooms, boardrooms, warehouses—sharing the message:
“There’s a better plan. It’s already been paid for. And your name can be on it.”
Some rejected it.
Some ignored it.
But many signed up.
And those who did…
worked differently, lived differently—no longer afraid of what would happen at the end of their career.
Because they knew:
Their future was already secured.
If you have not signed up for this insurance, there's still time. If you want to know more, I would be happy to share it with you!
Have a very blessed day!
