Public Funding for Cooling Centers: What is Happening with the State Budget
Thursday, May 21, 5:30 pm MST via Zoom

Join AFN and AZIPL for a briefing on the question of heat relief finding in the state budget. The Governor proposed $10 million in heat relief investments in her initial state budget proposal. Whether that emerges in the final budget is an open question that the Legislature must weigh in on.

We’re coming together to talk about the outlook for cooling center funding for next year, and how you can help raise the call for continuing this essential humanitarian response.
