Just a quick shout out to the head of maintenance here at Turf, Tony. It never ceases to amaze me how awesome his attitude is no matter the chore. He always has a smile and a wave.
Just something positive.

“This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Truth. It all comes down to what you choose to focus on. Let’s focus on the love and Grace of Jesus.

Good morning y’all!

Reading in Psalms 145:5:
“They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty, and I will meditate (Ponder) on your wonderful works”

I was caught by the meditate or ponder or look upon (which ever you like) and thought about how we rush around from here to there, not only physically but mentally and emotionally. And how we need to encourage ourselves to slow down and truly take a look around and see the wonderful works of God.
I challenge you today, to do just that, slow down, ask God to show you His wonderful works.
Guess what? He will. Will you see it? I hope and pray you will.
Be blessed today!
And don’t ever forget, God loves you,
and so do I.

Good morning y’all. I came across another amazing verse this morning that is perfect for us today.

I Samuel 17:45
“You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty….”

This is found in the story where David slays Goliath the Philistine Giant. If you aren’t familiar with the story, David is small in stature and the army of Israel was afraid of Goliath. David however knew his God and knew that God would have his back, which He did. David slew Goliath with a sling and a stone but more importantly his trust and faith in Almighty God.
I believe many today have giants in there lives that at times seem insurmountable. Let me encourage you to stop trying to defeat them in your own strength. Learn to give them to the Lord and allow Him to go before you and slay your giants. You may say “What giants?”

Many deal with giants such as:
Financial giants
Physical giants
Emotional giants
Relational giants
Eating giants
Giants of addiction
Etc. you fill in the blanks.

Know this: there is no giant in your life to big for God to handle. He loves you with an everlasting love that will not change like shifting shadows. Allow God to love you through to victory.

God bless y’all
Don’t ever forget, God loves you, and so do I.

Good morning y’all, I was reading a verse in proverbs that I wanted to share this morning.

Proverbs 27:17:
“As iron sharpens iron,
So one man sharpens another”

As I was thinking about this a bit ago, I was reminded of being at the grocery store a few Sunday mornings ago and how when done with the grocery cart I took it to the cart bay where it would be picked up later by a grocery store attendant. No big deal right? But on my way back to the truck a guy (not an attendant) thanked me for taking the time to take the cart to where it belonged. I said, “no problem, your welcome.” To which he replied, “Most people seem in to much of a hurry these days to be bothered by such tasks.”
You say, what does this have to do with this verse?
It shows us that sometimes an encouraging word can be used to sharpen our lives and it doesn’t have to be a word from the word. Sometimes it just comes in the form of living your faith walk in public allowing people to experience the presence and love of God through your actions, no matter how menial or mundane.
Sometimes WE are the only Bible people read.
Let’s go out and sharpen those around us today.
God Bless.
Don’t ever forget, God loves you, and so do I.
