The world has plenty of ways to tell us who we are—our past, our failures, our accomplishments, our relationships, or even what others have said about us. But as we began our new MADE NEW series through Ephesians, we discovered something better: if we belong to Jesus, our deepest identity is found “in Christ.”
In just the first three verses, Paul reminds us that our lives have a calling, our identity is found in Christ, and in Christ we have already been blessed with every spiritual blessing. Jesus didn’t come simply to make us a better version of who we used to be—He came to make us new. So, the question that matters most is not “Who does the world say I am?” but “Who am I in Christ?”
