Disciples of the Plains Easter Vigil will be tonight at Zion Lutheran Church ELCA Phillipsburg, KS, at 8:00 pm. Because of the red flag warnings, we will not have an outside fire. We will gather at the west-facing doors under the front portico. It is a simplified liturgy so the service will probably last no longer than 1.5 hours (probably less with no fire). All are welcome. Easter Vigil is great way to begin our Easter celebrations.

This is the night of salvation!

At the Vigil of Easter, we gather around fire, word, water, bread and wine, proclaiming through story and song that ours is a God who continuously brings life out of death.
