80 years - and what a glorious time we had!

We gathered in gratitude to celebrate 80 years of God’s faithfulness to Phillips Temple Christian Methodist Church and to honor the ministry, witness, and service that have shaped our church family and blessed our community.

We were grateful to welcome our sisters and brothers from Holsey Temple CME Church, under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Lynn Hargrow, and we shared in a beautiful worship experience filled with praise, reflection, fellowship, and joy.

After service, we continued the celebration together in the fellowship hall, enjoying good food, warm conversation, and the blessing of being family in Christ.

Thank you to everyone who worshipped with us, celebrated with us, and helped make this 80th anniversary a memorable occasion.

We warmly invite you - our sisters and brothers - to celebrate what God has allowed us to experience.

This Sunday’s worship experience will see us give thanks for 80 years of service to God and our community.

We will be joined by the Holsey Temple CME Church, led by the Rev. Dr. Lynn Hargrow.

After the worship service we will dine together as a family in the fellowship hall.
