Housing is more than a conversation it’s a commitment we take serious.

Affordable housing remains one of the most pressing needs in our community, and it’s a priority that Frankford CDC is actively working to address.

Together with Mosaic Development Partners, Studio Sustena, and Wulff Architects Inc., we’re transforming the former ThriftWay Market site adjacent to the Frankford Transportation Center into a vibrant, mixed-use development designed to serve the community for generations to come.

The project will include:
• Over 100 affordable apartments
• A 20,000-square-foot full-service supermarket
• A 40,000-square-foot City Health Center
• Thoughtfully designed public spaces that support a healthier, more connected neighborhood

This project reflects our belief that strong communities are built by investing in housing, healthcare, food access, economic opportunity, and quality public spaces—not one instead of another, but all together.

Community development isn’t about a single project. It’s about creating places where families can live, shop, access healthcare, and thrive.

We’re proud to be working alongside our partners to help shape Frankford’s future, and we look forward to sharing more as this transformational project moves forward.

Catch CAYA this Sat July 25th for our RV Mobile Outreach in Kensington. We plan to be on the road by 12:40 pm. If we got it, those in need can have it in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

Join us today at 2pm as the CAYA RV Mobile Outreach Unit hits the streets of Frankford and Kensington. We are on assignment with 3 intentional stops where 3 Powerful Preachers (Pastor Iris Morrison Steward, Apostle Arnold Steward and Pastor T Charves Pearsall will deliver Words of Encouragement. All other clergy and myself will serve as boots on the ground with individual prayer, contact and conversation to all that we encounter. With the snow storm projected for this weekend, the RV will be loaded with sleeping bags, hand warmers, hats, scarfs, gloves, blessing bags, toiletries, freshly prepared hot food and most importantly the love of Christ who provides it all. See you all Soon! If you'd like to help setup or pray with us before we hit the road, we will be at CAYA at 1pm.

Let’s celebrate God’s love, light, and provision as we bless our children by God's Hand with free toys, free food, gift raffles for the children, parents and most importantly, hope for the New Year 2026 in Jesus Name. Children must be present with their parent or grandparent to participate in the toy giveaways and raffle prizes.
