We are a church committed to the vision of impacting lives to the glory of Christ by lovingly proclaiming and authentically living out the truths of the gospel. We believe that God has called us to have a strategic and positive impact for Christ in the city of Philadelphia and throughout the world. Matthew 5:16 marks this out for us in terms of our gospel witness, i.e., our being “light” and “salt

” to our families, neighbors, friends, coworkers, strangers, and foreigners. It’s clear to us that the church is not a social club or an entertainment complex or a therapeutic center. The church is God’s agent in the world to advance His kingdom as people are reconciled to Him and transformed by His gospel. We are part of what God is doing in this world to call out a people who understand what it means to be Christ’s church in today’s world.
