Please consider sharing a small bit of your abundance on this Giving Tuesday with my beautiful comfort choir, The Healing Presence Singers! I just sent out a mass email to many and am copying that below for your consideration.
I am excited and proud to say we are closing our fifth season providing peaceful and comforting songs to those individuals and organizations in need of accompaniment through difficult and challenging times of transition or change.
It is incredible work and so deeply gratifying to continue to fulfill this dream I've had for many years.
Below is the letter for your consideration. Please feel free to share with others you feel might be inspired to give of their abundance today or any day!

Dear friends,
As you discern your year-end giving, I am hopeful that you might consider sharing some of your abundance with The Healing Presence Singers, a Philadelphia area based comfort choir that provides solace, comfort and support to people and organizations who are in need of accompaniment during times of struggle or transition.
This amazing group of singing souls is now completing its fifth full season of service to a wide variety of organizations throughout the city, including Holy Redeemer Hospice, Heeding God's Call to End Gun Violence, memorial services, a stunning service at The Philadelphia Cathedral to honor families grieving the loss of a child through miscarriage, Tuesday evening Healing service during the Eucharist Dinner serving the homeless and HIV/AIDS community at University Lutheran Church, providing songs of celebration and peace at the recent Opening Reception for Chestnut Hill Presbyterian Church's Arts & Music Festival (in conjunction with Heeding God's Call), serving dinner and singing for/with the shelter guests at the men's winter shelter at Old First Reformed UCC, and various visits to local nursing homes to sing for and with residents. Some of our members continue to sing weekly with my choir of folks living with Parkinson's Disease, ParkinSingers, and are cherished members of that incredible singing family.
Our upcoming engagements include return visits to the Old First Reformed UCC Winter Shelter, where we hope to start a monthly song gathering with the shelter men, possible collaboration with a well-known choral organization in its outreach efforts for the homeless, as well as providing holiday sing-a-long visits to area nursing homes.
This work is funded solely by the membership in the way of an annual dues, a few small honorariums shared by some of the larger organizations for which we serve, a generous donation from Tabernacle United Church, our original home in which I founded this ensemble, as well as donations from individuals like yourselves.
We are now blessed to call Old First Reformed UCC Church our home of residence, where I now serve as Director of Music.
As Old First has graciously agreed to sponsor us, and provide a space for our monthly rehearsals, all donations received for Healing Presence are tax deductible, to the full extent of the law.
Donations accepted are either via personal check or money order, made payable to "Old First Reformed UCC" with "Healing Presence" written in the memo portion of your check.
Checks should then be mailed to the following address:
