St. John's Baptist Church After a 115-year history of service to God and the community, we sadly announce the closing of St. John’s Baptist Church. St.

Our final service will be this Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. please join us for worship, fellowship, and a farewell feast. John's is a growing family of caring people dedicated to serving the South Philadelphia area in the name of our living Lord, Jesus Christ. We are always happy to meet new friends - all are welcome!

Oh so sad today…and I’m lousy at goodbyes!! Please know that this page will stay up for quite a while. If we have enough interest we hope to organize a Christmas reunion in conjunction with a caroling event (in the ‘hood). Our Bible Zoomers are also interested in continuing for now.
