Today, we heard Karl Dreher preach from Genesis 15 where God makes a covenant with Abram.

Karl reminded us that like he did with Abram through an Old Testament sacrifice, God made an unconditional covenant with us by sending His son as a sacrifice so that we may inherit righteousness.

This morning, Pastor Dave reminded us about the redemption story traced through Jesus’s lineage as detailed in Matthew 1.

He shared how Jesus willingly identified with our mess, as shown through the people in his lineage, and because of this we should daily choose to identify with Jesus on Christmas, and every day.

This year we celebrate 100 years of God’s faithfulness to Living Word Community on November 19th. The day will begin with a special service at 142 N. 17th St followed by a banquet at IATSE Local 8 2401 S Swanson St, Philadelphia, PA 19148.
