OCTOBER 22

09/12/2026

This is the time to BE the church, not just attend. ❤️

As a church family, we are saddened by the passing of our beloved church family member. During this time of loss, we believe our calling is not only to gather in the church building, but to go where love, comfort, and support are needed most.

Therefore, church services are canceled tomorrow so that our church family may attend the visitation and funeral services and come alongside the family of Frankie Killens with our prayers, presence, love, and support.

Let us show up, surround them with compassion, and remind them that they are not walking through this valley alone. This is what it means to BE the church—to love one another, bear one another’s burdens, and minister beyond the walls of the building.

Please continue to keep the family in your prayers, and make plans to attend and support them during this difficult time.

We may not be gathering in the church building tomorrow, but we will be the church in action. 🙏🏽❤️

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at McClain-Hays Chapel, with interment to follow at Sandtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday
