Flashback to the Pysanky class at Holy Trinity..

It was a great day of learning the beautiful tradition of decorating eggs while sharing fellowship, creativity, and a little patience with melted wax and dyes.

A big thank you to the Carpatho-Rusyn Society for helping make this special day possible and sharing this beautiful tradition with our community. Specifically thank you to John Kopcha, Carole Smith, her mother also named Carole and everyone that came to participate.

Our monthly Coffee Social was today ☕️

Our social happened to fall right before St. Patrick’s Day, so the table had plenty of greens along with Irish potatoes, bagels, pound cake, peanut butter Rice Krispie treats, fruit, potato salad, veggies, and of course plenty of Dunkin’ coffee Thank you to everyone who helped bring something to share.

Next Sunday’s Divine Liturgy is at 11:30 AM. Holy Week schedules will be posted soon, a rough draft included below.

Our next coffee social will be April 19. We hope you can join us.

Yesterday we observed the Veneration of the Holy Cross on the Third Sunday of the Great Fast. Father demonstrated the full prostration made before the Cross as the faithful come forward to venerate it.

This prostration is a gesture of deep humility and reverence—bowing down before the Cross, then rising again.

Think of it like a spiritual rest stop on the Lenten journey:
• We pause
• Venerate the Cross
• Receive encouragement to continue the Fast
